Beneficiary entities
SMEs and large companies with at least one work center in Castilla y León (large companies only for projects in collaboration with at least two regional SMEs).
Eligible projects

Individual R&D projects , submitted by a single small or medium-sized enterprise (SME).

Collaborative R&D projects submitted by a consortium of at least three entities and a maximum of five companies of any size, at least two of which are SMEs.
Eligible costs and expenses
Research and Development (R&D) projects related to cybersecurity, supported by any complementary technology, will be considered eligible for funding, such as:

Advanced Cryptography: Encryption protocols, digital signatures, blockchain.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning: For threat detection, analysis of anomalous behavior, and response automation.

Cloud Technologies: Securing Cloud Infrastructure and Services.

Big Data and Predictive Analytics: For identifying patterns in large volumes of data related to security threats.

Virtualization technologies: Securing virtual environments and containers, and any others such as 5G and 6G.
Eligible expenses

Personnel expenses.

Costs of acquiring hardware or software.

External collaborations.

Expenses for managing the aid file (external managing entity).

Expenses for the preparation of a mandatory final financial audit report.
Financing
The non-repayable grant will be determined as a fixed percentage ranging from a minimum of 70% to a maximum of 80% for SMEs and from 50% to 60% for large companies.
The minimum and maximum eligible budgets for the different projects will be established as follows:
